Description

It is to procure construction-related consultancy services for engagement fees up to $9M ex GST.

Scope

As a result of the introduction of the Enforceable Procurement Provisions (EPP) Board Direction PBD-2019-05, this scheme is now capped at consultancy fees of up to $9M. This scheme does not require prequalified suppliers to enter into a contract at the prequalification stage but they accept and agree to generic scheme conditions.
This scheme covers the following two thresholds for construction-related consultancy services:

  • Registered Consultants for engagement fees up to $250,000
  • Certified consultants for engagement fees between $250,000 and $9M

This Scheme covers the provision of consultancy services related to six main work categories divided into thirty-eight work types:

  • Architectural
  • Assessment
  • Engineering
  • Planning
  • Management
  • Security Consultants & Security Equipment Specialists

Further details on the work types, description of services, requirements, and qualifications are provided in Appendix B of the Scheme Conditions.

Instructions

The NSW Government recommends suppliers considering applying for prequalification on this Scheme to complete the Eligibility Checklist available in the Applicant Guidelines prior to lodging an application. The checklist provides an indication as to whether the Applicant may be eligible for prequalification on the Scheme.

Before applying for prequalification, an Applicant must first register on Supplier Hub. The Applicant must also be a registered business within Australia and an Australian Business Number (ABN) is mandatory. The Supplier Hub will automatically populate the Entity name and Business name from the ABN Lookup, once an ABN is entered.

Applicants need to answer all the questions prompted by the online prequalification application form along with the information on the provided templates.
