Recent advancements in technology have increasingly played an important role in positively impacting the lives of people with disability. The exploration of haptic vibrations and the potential they have to provide a universal language for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing has resulted in new inventions, in particular wearable items embedded with haptic technology. Sydney Opera House is seeking expressions of interest for wearable haptic technology to utilise in venues by Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and to be one of the first organisations in Australia to break down these barriers and explore new ways of sharing live music in a universal language. In addition to the wearable haptic technology, Sydney Opera House seeks to assess capability and capacity of installation and ongoing support. Purchase and rental arrangements will be considered.

The successful supplier will need to design, implement, analyse, interpret and present the findings of a longitudinal survey of young people and gambling. The first survey wave has already been completed and published as part of a previous study the NSW Youth Gambling Study 2020.
